About CyberReviewed
CyberReviewed reviews mid-market cybersecurity companies and publishes statistics on data breaches, ransomware and phishing.
Why this site exists
Most of what mid-size companies read about a security vendor is written by that vendor. CyberReviewed reviews the companies those buyers are most likely to evaluate, using prices, contracts and filings that anyone can look up.
The largest security companies get analyst reports and earnings calls. The private, small and mid-sized firms we cover often publish little more than a press release and a pricing page that says "contact sales."
What we publish
- Company reviews that open with our take and a score on five criteria, then cover the product, pricing, company history, funding and competitors.
- Category guides that explain what separates vendors in each area of security.
- Research reports that bring together statistics from primary sources such as the FBI, IBM, Verizon and Chainalysis.
How we research
Each review is written from the vendor's own pricing and product pages, funding announcements, public contracts and news coverage, cited inline. The methodology page explains how scores are set.
